West Tower is an exclusive wedding venue in the North West, and part of the family of Marco Pierre White sites I built on Wired CMS, Wired Media's in-house content management system. Its site grew into something much bigger than a brochure: Wired CMS Wedding Edition, which I led, designed from the start so it could be resold to other venues.

A wedding planner for every couple

Couples sign in to a planner run by the venue's wedding coordinator. They pay the installments the coordinator sets through PayPal, schedule reminders for their tasks, put their guests on table plans, and allocate guest rooms. The coordinator gets full printouts of every wedding for the staff, and for the best man, so the day goes without a hitch.

Availability, online

On the public site, a calendar shows prospective couples which dates are free, and lets them make a reservation online. West Tower ran its whole wedding operation on the system, with well over 150 events booked into it, two years ahead.
