Scorbit

Scorbit connects pinball machines of any age to the cloud, unlocking more fun, engagement and revenue. I led the backend development of their web application and APIs, and rebuilt their marketing site.

Gun.io

Gun.io helps world-class engineering teams hire the world’s most sought-after freelance engineers at a moment’s notice. I worked on their Django/Vue web app and as a freelancer on the platform.

Law School Transparency

Law School Transparency helps prelaw students make strategic choices about where to attend law school. I led the Product & Engineering team and consulted on various strategies at LSAC.

Open Orchestras

Open Up Music support Music Education Hubs, arts organizations and schools to create orchestras that are accessible to young disabled people. I built the Open Orchestras Laravel app, and the Django API that powers The Clarion.

Coworkations

Coworkations helps you find the remote working community that is right for you: a database of 170 digital nomad retreats running 2,500 trips across 120 countries, which I built on my own and still run.

The Valley Signal

An independent daily news site for Teton Valley, Idaho. I built the parts readers touch around the reporting: social cards, search, dark mode, and a front page that carries the valley's public meetings.

Flow Canon

Flow Canon is Wade Williams and me: two senior engineers and a fleet of AI agents, who you call when the software that pays the bills is on fire.

WhatsApp Now

WhatsApp Now: send messages without adding numbers into your address book.

Cloudflare Screenshot

An open-source Cloudflare Worker that turns any page on your site into a screenshot, PDF or video, for share cards that look designed rather than cropped.

Steve.ly

My website. Such recursion. A portfolio, résumé and travel journal, rebuilt five times since 2008, now on Laravel.

Clarion API

The Clarion is an accessible musical instrument that can be played with any part of the body. I built the Django-based API that powers it, and I still look after it.

PHP South West UK

PHP South West UK, the PHP user group in Bristol, which I ran from 2013 to 2015, and the website I built for it.
